Our Community Coding Programme

It is a well-structured, complimentary coding programme that is open to all students aged 7-16 in Singapore.

The programme will be conducted over a span of 4 months with a total of 16 sessions of 1.5 hours each, on a weekly basis. All lessons are conducted online via Zoom live stream in a designated time slot.

Curriculum Structure and
Subject Modules

The Community Coding Programme is tiered into primary and secondary level, following Singapore’s education system. Our extensive curriculum offers a wide range of subject modules for both primary and secondary level courses.

  • Primary Level Course

    Open to all primary school students (P1 - P6) in Singapore. In this course, we foster their coding and computational thinking skills in a progressive manner through block-based programming. They learn Scratch 3.0, Mobile App Development, Virtual Reality Programming and Virtual Robotics.

  • Secondary Level Course

    Open to all secondary school students (S1 - S4) in Singapore. In this course, students pick up syntax-based programming (Python, Javascript) and apply the knowledge to build 2D computer games, websites and web apps.

Imagine, Program and Share!
Students learn the workings of Scratch to craft their personal games, animations and stories.

MIT App Inventor

MIT App Inventor is an app development platform that allows students to create fully functional apps for smartphones and tablets.

VR and AR Programming

Step into the world of virtual reality, start to develop interactive virtual reality experiences and games that are highly immersive.

Virtual Robotics

Beep, boop, beep beep! Students discover robotics concepts by programming their virtual robot through a series of gamified missions.

Python and JavaScript

Python and JavaScript are two of the most popular programming languages, being widely used in Data Science, AI and Web Development.

Game Development with Python

Apply Python coding to real world games. Learn to create randomly movable enemies, character's motion controls and much more!

Website & Web App Development with HTML, CSS and JS

Build and style interactive sites using front-end tools (HTML, CSS) and back-end development with JavaScript.

EICODECASTING is an online coding education platform based in Singapore. This initiative is supported and managed by a group of professionals and enthusiastic technology educators who are devoted to provide high quality coding educational resources at no cost.

Who is eligible to join?

EICODECASTING's Community Coding Programme (CCP) is open to all
Primary 1 - Secondary 4 students in Singapore.

What do I need to pay / Is there any obligation for taking part in the programme?

EICODECASTING offers free coding lessons. While there is no cost to participate, registered students are strongly encouraged to commit in order to receive the full benefit of the programme.

What is the schedule?

The programme will be conducted over a span of 4 months with a total of 16 sessions of 1.5 hours each. Lessons take place once a week in a designated time slot (more info on the registration page).

Where is it held?

All lessons will be conducted online via Zoom live stream in designated time slots.

Is there any certification for taking part?

Students who achieve a minimum of 80% attendance will receive a digital certificate of course completion at the end of the programme. On top of that, we put in place 2 module assessments throughout the course in order to validate student’s learning and programming skills. A graded transcript will be issued to students who managed to pass the module assessments.
